Okay, so here's the deal.
We grew up in a simpler time, before Al Gore's internet became a social media machine. We didn't have influencers. We had magazines.
Were they better or worse than what we have today? That's debatable. But what's less debatable is that many of us, myself included, loved taking the quizzes in those teen and young adult magazines. What could we discover about ourselves? It was fun and intriguing.
Now, were some of those quizzes also problematic, body-shaming, and straight-up harmful? Absolutely. That's not what we're doing here.
Like Totally Fab keeps the good stuff, the self-discovery, the sense of belonging, that feeling when a quiz just gets you, even when the topic is totally frivolous. We left the rest in the recycling bin where it belongs.

Founded by a fellow Xennial and sociologist who believes that nostalgia isn't about living in the past, it's about remembering what made us feel powerful, joyful, and totally ourselves, and bringing that energy forward.
